Valiseio Account & Data Deletion Policy
Effective Date: September 7, 2026
Last Updated: September 7, 2026
Valiseio is operated by Mustafa Güller, based in Türkiye. This Account & Data Deletion Policy explains how users can delete their Valiseio account, what happens to associated data, how long residual copies may remain in backups or logs, and how to contact us if they cannot complete deletion from within the app.
Quick summary: You can delete your account in Valiseio via Settings → Delete Account. The active account and configured account-linked data are removed from production systems as part of the deletion flow. Supabase backups and platform logs are retained for up to 7 days. If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion by emailing support@valiseio.com.
1. How to Delete Your Account in the App
You can permanently delete your Valiseio account directly from the mobile application:
Settings → Delete Account
Valiseio displays a confirmation step before the deletion request is processed. Once confirmed, the account-deletion workflow is initiated on our backend.
2. What the In-App Deletion Process Removes
The current production deletion flow removes the user account and the account-linked data that is configured for deletion or cascade deletion, including, where applicable:
- The Supabase authentication account and active Valiseio sessions.
- The main Valiseio user/profile database record.
- Profile avatar and additional profile photos stored for the account.
- Posts, comments, and events linked to the account where deletion is configured through database relationships.
- Saved cities, saved places, and saved trips linked to the account.
- Saved AI Travel Planner results that are stored as part of a saved Trip.
- Other account-linked application records that are configured to be removed as part of the account-deletion workflow.
Valiseio does not operate a separate behavioral analytics platform in the current production version, so there is no Valiseio analytics profile that needs to be deleted as part of the account-deletion process.
3. Sign in with Apple
If your Valiseio account uses Sign in with Apple, the account-deletion flow also attempts to revoke the relevant Apple authorization refresh token before the Valiseio user record is deleted.
The revocation step is designed as a best-effort server-side request. A temporary failure in Apple's revocation service does not prevent Valiseio from honoring your request to delete your Valiseio account.
4. Data That Is Not Collected or Does Not Require Separate Deletion
The current Valiseio production build does not maintain the following categories as persistent Valiseio user data:
- Precise or approximate device location.
- Advertising identifiers such as IDFA or Android Advertising ID.
- Persistent search history.
- OS-level push-notification tokens.
- Behavioral analytics profiles or advertising-tracking profiles.
- Credit card numbers, bank-account information, or payment-card security codes.
- AI Travel Planner prompts in Valiseio's primary database; planner requests are processed transiently and only saved AI plans are retained when the user explicitly saves a Trip.
5. Backups and Technical Logs
Deleting an account removes the relevant data from active production systems, but limited copies may remain temporarily in technical backup systems or platform logs until those systems complete their normal retention cycle.
| System | Retention | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase automatic backups | Up to 7 days | Deleted production data may remain in a backup copy until the backup rotates out. |
| Supabase platform/server logs | Up to 7 days | Technical logs may include request metadata such as IP address, timestamps, user/account identifiers, or API request information. |
| Point-in-time recovery (PITR) | Not enabled | Valiseio does not currently use Supabase PITR for this project. |
Backup copies are not used to restore a deleted account for ordinary service purposes. They are retained only as part of normal infrastructure resilience and are removed through the standard backup-rotation cycle.
6. Information That May Be Retained for Legal or Operational Reasons
In limited circumstances, certain records may be retained for longer than the normal account-deletion period when reasonably necessary or legally required. Examples may include records needed for:
- Tax, accounting, or financial recordkeeping obligations.
- Subscription, referral, creator-commission, or transaction-related recordkeeping.
- Fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or security investigations.
- Resolving disputes or enforcing our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
- Responding to valid legal requests or complying with applicable law.
Where such retention is necessary, we aim to retain only the information reasonably required for that purpose and to restrict its use accordingly.
7. Manual Deletion Requests
If you cannot access the Valiseio app or cannot use the in-app deletion option, you can request account deletion by contacting us at:
To help us locate the correct account, please send the request from the email address associated with your Valiseio account whenever possible. We may ask for limited additional information to verify that the request is being made by the account holder before completing the deletion.
Do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identity documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information by email unless we specifically request a secure verification step.
8. What Happens After a Manual Request
After we verify a valid manual deletion request, we will initiate deletion of the relevant Valiseio account and associated active-system data using the same or equivalent backend deletion process used by the in-app account-deletion function.
Residual backup copies and platform logs may remain for up to 7 days as described above. Records that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute purposes may be retained for the period reasonably necessary or required by law.
9. Subscription Cancellation Is Separate
Deleting your Valiseio account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or another app-store billing platform.
If you have an active subscription, you should separately manage or cancel it through the subscription-management settings of the store through which you purchased it. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions.
10. Third-Party Accounts and Services
Deleting your Valiseio account removes your Valiseio account and associated Valiseio-controlled data as described in this Policy. It does not automatically delete independent accounts that you may have with third-party providers such as Apple, Google, or other external services.
Those providers may retain information under their own terms and privacy policies. You may need to manage your account or data with those providers separately.
11. Data Security During Deletion
Valiseio uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards during account and data handling, including HTTPS/TLS for data in transit, encrypted managed infrastructure, server-side authorization controls, and restricted production-data access.
Production access to the Valiseio Supabase project is currently restricted to the project Owner. Our primary Supabase project is hosted in the Ireland / EU region (eu-west-1).
12. Requests to Delete Specific Content Without Deleting Your Account
Where Valiseio provides an in-app option to remove or edit particular content, you may use that feature without deleting your entire account. For other content-removal requests, you may contact support@valiseio.com.
Content that is the subject of a safety, abuse, fraud, legal, or moderation investigation may be temporarily restricted or retained to the extent reasonably necessary to complete that process or comply with applicable law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Account & Data Deletion Policy when Valiseio features, infrastructure, legal obligations, or data-handling practices change. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document indicates the most recent revision.
