Valiseio Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Valiseio mobile application, website, and related products and services (collectively, the "Services").

Valiseio is operated by Mustafa Güller, based in Türkiye ("Valiseio," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account and selecting the acceptance checkbox during onboarding, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines, and any additional terms presented for specific features, promotions, subscriptions, or programs.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Valiseio.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Valiseio.

By using the Services, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years old;
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms;
• You are not prohibited from using the Services under applicable law; and
• The information you provide to us is truthful and reasonably accurate.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person without authorization. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify compliance with these requirements.

2. Your Valiseio Account

Certain Valiseio features require an account. You may register using supported methods such as email and password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity occurring through your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information;
• Keep your account information reasonably current;
• Protect your login credentials;
• Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised; and
• Not sell, transfer, rent, or share access to your account in a manner that violates these Terms.

You may maintain only accounts that you are legitimately authorized to use.

3. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal information. The Privacy Policy forms an important part of your relationship with Valiseio. By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information will be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Community Guidelines

Valiseio includes community and social features. Your use of these features is subject to our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You must comply with those Guidelines whenever you create a profile, post content, comment, upload photos, create or participate in events, communicate with other users, use community or forum features, use matching or discovery features, or otherwise interact with other members of the Valiseio community.

Violation of the Community Guidelines may result in content removal, feature restrictions, suspension, or termination of your account.

5. User-Generated Content

Valiseio allows users to create, upload, publish, transmit, or otherwise make available content ("User Content"). User Content may include profile information, photos, bios, posts, comments, community content, event descriptions, messages, travel-related content, and other material submitted through the Services.

You retain ownership of the User Content you create, subject to the rights granted below.

By submitting User Content, you grant Valiseio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, format, transmit, and make available that content only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, provide, moderate, secure, improve, and promote the Services.

This license includes the right to technically process content for purposes such as displaying it to intended users, providing community features, moderating content, preventing abuse, maintaining backups, operating the Services, and complying with legal obligations. This license does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Valiseio.

When User Content is deleted, we will stop using it for active service purposes except where limited retention is reasonably necessary for backups, legal compliance, safety, dispute resolution, or enforcement.

6. Your Responsibilities for User Content

You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit. You represent and warrant that:

• You own the content or have permission to use and share it;
• Your content does not infringe another person's intellectual property rights;
• Your content does not unlawfully disclose another person's private information;
• Your content complies with applicable law;
• Your content complies with the Community Guidelines; and
• You have obtained any permissions reasonably required for people appearing in photos or content you upload.

You must not upload content solely because it is available elsewhere on the internet unless you have the right to use it.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Valiseio to engage in unlawful, abusive, deceptive, harmful, or disruptive behavior. Without limitation, you may not:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, bully, stalk, or abuse another person;
• Promote hatred or discrimination against protected groups;
• Publish sexually explicit, exploitative, or non-consensual intimate content;
• Exploit, sexualize, endanger, or abuse minors;
• Promote or facilitate human trafficking or sexual exploitation;
• Make credible threats of violence or promote terrorism or violent extremism;
• Commit or facilitate fraud, scams, financial deception, or impersonation;
• Create intentionally deceptive identities or spam users or communities;
• Distribute malicious software or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
• Scrape or systematically extract Valiseio data without authorization;
• Circumvent security, moderation, rate limits, blocks, or access restrictions;
• Collect information about other users without lawful authorization;
• Use automated systems or bots in an abusive manner;
• Upload illegal material or violate intellectual property rights;
• Organize or promote illegal activities through events;
• Use Valiseio for unauthorized commercial solicitation;
• Abuse reporting, blocking, referral, or moderation tools; or
• Assist another person in violating these Terms.

More detailed rules may be contained in the Community Guidelines.

8. Content Moderation

Valiseio may use a combination of rule-based automated filtering, user reports, administrative review, and other reasonable safety measures to detect or address content that may violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

Our current content-filtering systems may analyze text for patterns associated with spam, harassment, hate speech, threats, and sexual or inappropriate content. Automated systems are not perfect and may fail to detect inappropriate content or may incorrectly flag permitted content. We do not guarantee that all content is reviewed before publication.

9. Reporting and Enforcement

Valiseio provides reporting tools for supported content and features. Depending on the relevant part of the Services, users may be able to report profiles or users, posts and comments, events, photos, messages or other supported content, and AI-generated travel plans.

We may investigate reports and take action that we reasonably believe is appropriate, including removing content, restricting functionality, suspending or terminating an account, dismissing a report where no violation is identified, or taking other measures necessary to protect users or the Services.

We are not obligated to disclose confidential details of moderation decisions to the reporting user or reported user. Repeated misuse of the reporting system may itself constitute a violation of these Terms.

10. Blocking Users

Valiseio may provide features that allow users to block other users. Blocking is intended to limit future interactions between the relevant accounts through supported Valiseio features.

Users must not attempt to circumvent another user's decision to block them by creating alternative accounts, contacting them through another Valiseio account, recruiting another person to contact them, or otherwise attempting to bypass the block.

11. Matching and Meeting Other Users

Valiseio may provide discovery or matching features designed to help users meet travelers, residents, digital nomads, or other community members.

Valiseio does not conduct comprehensive background checks on users and does not guarantee the identity, intentions, character, reliability, safety, or accuracy of information provided by another user.

You are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment when interacting with people you meet through Valiseio. If you decide to meet another user offline, you should take reasonable safety precautions, such as meeting in a public place, informing someone you trust of your plans, maintaining control of your transportation, protecting your personal and financial information, and ending the interaction if you feel unsafe.

Valiseio is not responsible for conduct occurring between users outside the Services except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

12. Events

Valiseio may allow users to discover, create, organize, promote, join, or request to join events. Unless an event is expressly identified as an official Valiseio event, Valiseio is not the organizer, host, operator, or provider of that event.

Event creators are responsible for providing reasonably accurate event information, complying with applicable laws, obtaining necessary permissions or licenses, maintaining reasonable safety standards, and fulfilling commitments made to participants.

Valiseio does not guarantee that an event will take place, attendance levels, the accuracy of event descriptions, safety at an event, conduct of organizers or attendees, or quality of products or services provided at an event. Users participate in third-party or user-created events at their own discretion and risk.

13. AI Travel Planner

Valiseio may provide AI-generated travel planning and recommendation features. Artificial intelligence can produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inappropriate, or misleading information.

AI-generated content is provided for general informational and planning purposes only. You should independently verify important information before making travel decisions, including visa and immigration requirements, entry requirements, travel restrictions, safety conditions, transportation schedules, accommodation availability, venue opening hours, prices, local laws, health requirements, and other time-sensitive information.

AI-generated information does not constitute legal, immigration, financial, medical, security, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated recommendations. Valiseio may allow you to report inappropriate or problematic AI outputs.

14. Travel Information and Third-Party Data

Valiseio may display travel-related information obtained from or supported by third-party services, including information relating to places and venues, ratings, addresses, maps, accommodation prices, destination information, and other travel-related data.

Such information may be provided through services such as Google Places, map providers, Booking.com-related services, or other third-party sources. Prices, ratings, availability, operating hours, addresses, and other information can change.

Valiseio does not guarantee that third-party travel information is always complete, accurate, current, or available. You should confirm material information directly with the relevant venue, hotel, transportation provider, government authority, or other primary source before relying on it.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party products, websites, platforms, or services, including Apple, Google, Anthropic, Supabase, RevenueCat, Booking.com, RapidAPI, and other providers.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. Valiseio does not control independent third-party services and is not responsible for their separate acts, content, or policies, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

16. Premium Features and Subscriptions

Valiseio may offer paid premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions. Available subscription periods, prices, features, currencies, and promotional offers will be displayed before purchase.

On iOS, subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to the payment method associated with your Apple account in accordance with Apple's applicable terms. Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled through the subscription-management options provided by Apple.

You can manage or cancel an App Store subscription through your Apple account subscription settings. Deleting your Valiseio account or deleting the Valiseio application does not necessarily cancel an active App Store subscription. You should separately cancel the subscription through Apple's subscription-management interface if you do not want it to renew.

Valiseio provides functionality to restore eligible purchases where supported.

17. Subscription Prices and Changes

Subscription prices are displayed before purchase and may vary by country, currency, tax treatment, App Store pricing rules, or promotional offering.

We may change subscription prices or features in the future. Where required, price changes will be handled and communicated in accordance with applicable App Store rules and consumer protection laws. Changes will not be applied in a manner that overrides any approval or notice rights provided by Apple or applicable law.

18. Refunds

Payments made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple. Refund requests for App Store purchases are generally handled through Apple's refund and purchase-support processes and are subject to Apple's applicable policies.

Nothing in these Terms limits refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Free Trials and Promotions

Valiseio may offer free trials, promotional pricing, discounts, referral benefits, or other offers. Additional conditions may be presented with a particular offer.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions may be limited in duration, eligibility may be restricted, offers may not be transferable, we may prevent abuse or manipulation of promotional systems, and promotions may be changed or withdrawn where permitted by law.

Where a free trial converts into a paid subscription, the applicable price and renewal terms will be shown through the relevant purchase interface before the subscription is confirmed.

20. Creator and Referral Programs

Valiseio may operate creator, ambassador, referral, commission, promotional, or similar programs. Participation may be subject to separate program terms or agreements.

We may maintain information necessary to attribute referrals, determine eligibility, calculate commissions, prevent fraud, process payments, and maintain required accounting or tax records.

No user is entitled to commissions or promotional compensation unless the applicable program conditions have been satisfied. We may suspend or invalidate referrals that we reasonably determine were generated through fraud, manipulation, self-referral where prohibited, fake accounts, unauthorized advertising, or other abuse.

21. Intellectual Property

Except for User Content and third-party material, Valiseio and its related software, interfaces, branding, designs, text, graphics, databases, features, logos, trademarks, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Valiseio and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Valiseio intellectual property to you. Subject to compliance with these Terms, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Services for their intended purpose.

You may not, except where permitted by law, copy, sell, license, reverse engineer, decompile, modify, redistribute, or create derivative commercial products from the Valiseio application or proprietary Services without authorization.

22. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, recommendations, or feedback about Valiseio, you authorize us to use that feedback without restriction or obligation to compensate you. This does not transfer ownership of unrelated User Content.

23. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe content available through Valiseio infringes your intellectual property rights, contact support@valiseio.com.

Please provide sufficient information to identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, where the material appears, your contact information, and the basis for your claim. We may remove or restrict content where reasonably appropriate.

24. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Valiseio at any time and may delete your account through the account-deletion functionality provided within the application.

Valiseio may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe that these Terms or the Community Guidelines have been violated, the account poses a risk to users, fraud or abuse has occurred, the account is being used unlawfully, security requires intervention, we are legally required to act, or continued access would create material risk to Valiseio or others.

Where appropriate and legally required, we may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal a moderation decision. Serious safety or legal violations may result in immediate action.

25. Account Deletion

Users can initiate deletion through Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion removes the user's active account and associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Certain information may remain temporarily in secure backups or may be retained where required for legal compliance, tax or accounting obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement, or other lawful purposes.

Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through the App Store.

26. Service Availability

We aim to make Valiseio reasonably available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical failures, third-party outages, security incidents, network conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may modify, add, remove, discontinue, or replace features over time. Where required by law, material changes affecting paid services will be handled consistently with applicable consumer rights.

27. No Guarantee of User Content or Conduct

Valiseio hosts content and interactions provided by users. Except where required by law, we do not endorse and cannot guarantee statements made by users, user identities, user intentions, travel claims, event descriptions, recommendations, profile information, or conduct of users.

The presence of a user, profile, event, post, or venue on Valiseio does not constitute endorsement by Valiseio.

28. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not warrant that the Services will always be uninterrupted, all information will be accurate, all users will behave appropriately, every harmful activity will be detected, AI-generated content will be accurate, every venue or event will meet expectations, or the Services will be free of all errors.

Nothing in this section excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

29. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Valiseio and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services.

This may include losses resulting from reliance on travel information, user interactions, user-created events, third-party services, AI-generated content, service interruptions, or unauthorized use caused by a user's failure to secure their account.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law.

30. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of Valiseio, your User Content, your material breach of these Terms, your violation of another person's rights, or events or commercial activities you organize through Valiseio.

This provision does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable consumer law.

31. Apple App Store Terms

If you download or use Valiseio through Apple's App Store, your use of the licensed iOS application is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms and Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) unless a valid custom EULA is expressly provided.

For avoidance of doubt, Apple is responsible for its App Store, payment, and platform services as described in Apple's own terms, while Valiseio remains responsible for the Valiseio Services as required by applicable law.

32. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, changes to the Services, safety requirements, legal requirements, changes to business practices, or changes to third-party services.

The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. If a change is material, we may provide notice through the application, our website, email, or another reasonable method. Where legally required, we may request renewed acceptance of updated Terms.

33. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.

Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers of protections or jurisdictional rights that cannot legally be waived. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts and authorities determined under applicable law.

34. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law. The invalid provision will be interpreted or limited as necessary to best reflect its intended lawful purpose.

35. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.

36. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer these Terms in connection with a legitimate business restructuring, acquisition, merger, asset transfer, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law and privacy obligations.

37. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any additional terms applicable to a particular feature or program constitute the agreement between you and Valiseio concerning use of the Services.

If specific feature terms conflict with these Terms, the more specific terms will apply to that feature to the extent of the conflict.
